Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Draft. Written to match how refunds actually work in the product today. Have a lawyer review it before this page goes live for real customers.

Before the operator confirms

Requesting a flight only places a temporary $1 hold on your card to verify it — you are not charged. If you no longer want the flight, there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund; simply don't proceed. If the operator declines or the seat is no longer available, the hold is released automatically and you are never charged.

If the operator's price is higher than you agreed to

We will never charge you more than the price you agreed to at the time you requested. If the operator comes back with a higher price, we ask you to approve it first. If you decline, nothing is charged.

Paying by bank transfer or wire

Once the operator confirms, bank-transfer bookings have a limited payment window (shown on your booking page). If your transfer doesn't arrive within that window, the booking is automatically released and you are not charged. If you've already sent the transfer and the window is about to close, contact us immediately at [support@yourdomain.com]— don't let it lapse.

If the operator cancels after you've paid

You get a full refund, automatically. Card refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement; bank-transfer refunds can take longer to reach your account.

If you need to cancel after you've paid

Contact us at [support@yourdomain.com]as soon as possible. Because the flight has already been confirmed and staffed by the operator, refund eligibility depends on how close to departure you cancel and the individual operator's own cancellation terms — the closer to departure, the less likely a full refund is possible. We'll always tell you exactly what the operator's terms allow before finalizing anything.
